Internet access is available free of charge to all patients. Patients have access to WiFi@Ramsay by entering their full MRN into the logon screen.

The Translating and Interpreter Service (TIS) is available 24 hours a day and provides a free interpreting service for doctors and specialists. If you would like an interpreter at any stage of your hospitalisation, please speak with your doctor or nurse. WSPOIC is happy to assist with these arrangements. Please be aware, there are a small number of exceptions to the provision of free services. Compensation case patients, non-permanent residents and services not booked under the doctor are not eligible for free services. In these cases, charges apply.

Private specialist pathology and radiology services provide cover to hospital inpatients. They also provide outpatient services. If you have a pathology service performed whilst you are in the centre, a separate account may be sent to you which can be claimed from Medicare and your health fund.

A pharmacy service is provided by a Ramsay pharmacy on-site. Pharmacists are available to the centre during your treatment. They will dispense medications as requested by your Specialist and explain new medications to you. Some medications are additional to your hospital charges. If applicable, these will be added to your account and payable on discharge. You will need to collect and pay for your discharge medications prior to leaving the hospital.
